NJ Motorsports Park

Built on land that was once a gunnery school for pilots of the P47 "Thunderbolts" in World War II, New Jersey Motorsports park is a near new racing facility in Millville, New Jersey. Construction began in 2007, and racing in 2008. Currently, the facility is home to two road courses, one aptly named "Thunderbolt" and the other "Lightning" plus a karting facility, however the track does have plans to expand in the future. SCCA, NARRA, EMRA and even ARCA as well as numerous other series compete at NJMP each year. In a unique turn of events "no pun intended" the track hosted Dirt Modifieds on the road course for the first time in 2010. Ted Christopher won the inaugural Road Mods Fast 50 on June 20, 2010. NJMP is within easy driving distance of Philadelphia, New York City, Baltimore, Washington, D.C.
