Hagerstown Speedway

Just west of Hagerstown, Md., Frank Plessinger's Hagerstown Speedway is a 1/2 dirt oval with one of the smoothest surfaces in all of dirt racing.  The track has 900 foot long straights, is also one of the widest in the U.S. with 70 foot wide straights and90 foot wide turns. The extra width makes for exciting racing as multiple grooves wear into the track. Dirt late models, Limited Lates and Pure Stocks compete weekly from March to October on Saturday nights at the extremely competitive and fan friendly facility. Hagerstown is a regular stop for World of Outlaws Late Models and Sprints, Lucas Oil Series,  other regional Late Model Series' as well as AMA flat track and Monster Jam. Friday night quarter midget racing is hosted on the Quarter Midget track that is located just outside turns 1 and 2 of the main speedway and is the home of the Hagerstown Quarter Midget Association.
