Zach enjoys all things automotive especially drag racing and attending car shows.  He has restored several automobiles and now attends several car shows with his home-restored 1961 Ford Starliner. The Starliner has won several Best in Shows including the 2009 Good-Guys National Home Built Heaven Award, 2010 Best Restored at the Detroit Autorama and the 2011 Best of the Best Classic Car at the NHRA Hot Rod Reunion. He also spends time showcasing vehicles for other folks.

Zach's special interest is the 1961 Ford Starliner.  He manages The Starliner Connection website and facebook page. From 2004 to 2012 he was the crew chief on the Jack Todd’s Top Sportsman 1961 Starliner and traveled to several east coast events match racing the Pro Nostalgia teams of Daddy Warbucks and Arnie Beswick.

Zach got the bug early by working in the transmission business with his father.  He also has it in his genes.  His grandmother purchased a new 67 SS/RS Camaro in LA so she could drive fast to work!  Zach now owns that car and is planning a restoration soon.

Zach shares his car enthusiasm with his local church.   As ministry leader of CrossWalk Adventures at the Harrisonburg First Church of the Nazarene,  he helps host one of the largest cruise ins in the Shenandoah Valley twice a year.

Zach promotes several east coast car events and has worked with Carlisle Events on promoting special Ford Nationals events. Zach has also even appeared on TV shows like Pass Time and Pinks All Out.
