Summary
The Six Nations Showdown had a lot of contenders for the win. Jason Sides was looking to capture his fourth win at the 3/8 mile dirt/clay oval in the heart of Southwestern Ontario, and Tony "Smoke" Stewart was looking to pull off a Hat Trick of 3 wins in a row. Both men were denied those opportunities as Donny Schatz dominated the later half of the race and took his second Six Nations Showdown victory. Schatz ran a solid second to Sides for the first 11 laps of the race, with Chad Kemenah, Paul McMahan, and Tony Stewart hot on their heels for the first part of the race. With the help of lapped traffic, Schatz found his way past Sides and maintained that lead for the remainder of the race. With a caution-free race, the laps ticked down quickly, giving Schatz a 6 second lead when the checkered flag flew. Finishing second was Chad Kemenah with Daryn Pittman able to maintain his points lead in the series with a 3rd place finish.
