Matthew Spencer

UK Correspondent

Matthew has been attending races since 1990 when he went to tracks with his parents. This started off with a modest trip to Harewood hillclimb and the stock cars at Odsal stadium before venturing to the various racetracks of the UK.

Matt's first trip to a "proper" racetrack was to the scenic Oulton Park.  Sadly that first trip is remembered more for the fact Paul Warwick suffered his fatal crash than anything else. Since then Matthew has predominantly covered the British Touring Cars, some British F3 and British GT plus a random trip to Pembrey for some British Truck Racing.

Since he was old enough to drive, Matthew has traveled around to pretty much every aspect of the British racing scene - the Humble British club meeting, Autograss, World Touring Cars, DTM, A1GP, FIA GT's, Rallycross, Rallies, the Champ Car UK visits, European NASCAR and European Truck racing to name a few.

Matt has ventured outside the UK shores for racing as well. First to Spa for the Belgian GP and to the USA five times for some NASCAR action.
